Remember a
week or so ago, I mentioned that I was going to show you a week-long devotion
aimed at anti-bullying? Well, it’s still
in the works. I’ve had 2 midterms, 2
major papers, and 2 bouts of illness in that time (plus having to say good-byeto our trusty Lab of 11 years). So, I’m
hoping you’ll let me slide one more week.
Thanks for understanding.
But, just
so you don’t feel like you’ve been completely forgotten about, here’s one of
those “three of my favorite things” lists…for April
1.
This
NYC barista, Mike Breach. -- Seriously? Spock?! A-mah-zing! --
2. A Mighty Girl’s list of 90 books for girls, entitled, “The
Ultimate Guide for Independent Princesses,” here.
--oh, I can’t wait for summer reading!

3. ALL. THE. SNOW.
Seriously, folks. I would love to permanently live inside a snow globe, venturing out a few weeks a year to see the sun on a beach; but then happily return to the land of fluff and sparkles. The only two things that make me sad about this are: 1) all the complaining, from people who willingly live in a mountainous state. Really, people. If you want CA or TX temps, I’m sure they’d love to have ya! 2) It came later this year, so the ski resorts are all but boarded up for mud season. *sniffle* I’ll have to make more of an effort to get my sliding days in next year.
